Comedian and comedy show producer Janelle Fitzpatrick will be back at the Play Louisville Theatre on March 7 at 7:30 p.m. with a new group of funny people for the "Spring Comes Early" show.
"Our two recent shows, "The All Gay and Lesbian Show" and the fourth annual "Virgins and Old Whore" show, went really well," said Fitzpatrick. "because of this, comedy will be at Play every other month now."
Septuagenarian comedian Sunshine Basham will open the show. She didn't start doing stand - up comedy until she was 72-years-old, and she's back with a vengeance after a mild stroke last year.
Day time nurse Teresa McCammon will feature with side splitting humor. McCammon also co-produces the annual "No Balls of Meat" female comedy contest with Fitzpatrick
Headliner Patrick Spring hails from Omaha, Nebraska and has performed on over 450 stages across the U.S. and Canada. His style and material are different than the average jokester.
"I have an act," explains Patrick from his California Ranch. "I'm not just chucking jokes in the wind and hope they hit their mark I've got killer aim."
Tickets at the door will be $7 (cash only.) The bar does accept credit and debit cards, and there is an ATM at the bar. The show is for ages 18 plus and up. Play Louisville is at 1101 E. Washington St.
