    Guided Relaxation | Guided Relaxation with Strive
    Louisville Salt Cave and Strive are joining to combine the healing properties of the Louisville Salt Cave with the added benefit of guided relaxation to music with Strive's Nina Rodahaffer and Cheyenne Mize. This event will give 12 individuals the chance to take 45 minutes to actively engage their senses and help to reduce their level of stress and anxiety with lasting effects.

    Carmichael’s Bookstore | Beans, Biscuits, Family, and Friends by Bill Goodman
    Beans, Biscuits, Family and Friends: Life Stories by Bill Goodman is a series of essays highlighting life in rural Kentucky many years ago, climbing and backpacking adventures with his friends from Glasgow, KY, and a vivid portrait of his artist-cousin Joe Downing, an abstract painter who was better known in Europe than in the United States.

    Actors Theatre |40th Humana Festival Kickoff

    The Kentucky Center | Bourbon Classic
    This 2016 week-long event is a rare, interactive opportunity that delivers education and entertainment exclusively focused on the Bourbon enthusiast.     The Olmsted | Fertility Tranquility Spa Day

Our panel of celebrity judges will taste all entries and then make their decisions based on the criteria of: Taste, Presentation and Originality.     The Bard’s Town | “A Permanent Image,” by Samuel D. Hunter
    Siblings Bo and Ally are back in their childhood home in Idaho for the funeral of their father. Their mother, Carol, has painted the whole house white and is suspected to have been drinking since their father's death. What Ally and Bo come to find out is that their mother has a method to her madness, as she pulls out some home videos of their father just before he died. Called a fusion between realism and the absurd, A Permanent Image is a tense exploration of the distance families put between themselves, and what it takes to bring them back together. Recommended for ages 16+

    Copper & Kings | 2016 Louisville Film Society Oscar Watch Party
    Please join the Louisville Film Society at Copper & Kings Brandy Distillery as they roll out the red carpet and watch the 88th Annual Academy Awards. There will be heavy hors d'oeuvre and dessert stations, Hollywood-inspired libations, a silent auction featuring items and services from local companies, a $250 ballot competition and door prizes. Tickets are $100 each and include a one-year LFS membership and $75 each for current LFS members. All but $25 from each ticket is a tax-deductible contribution to support the Louisville Film Society.
