    Bit to Do

The Kentuckiana Pug Rescue has been running their annual Pug Calendar Contest since June 17 and ends on September 20 at midnight. All proceeds from this contest go to benefit the pugs of the Kentuckiana Pug Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue organization (permit #P12-001005). Many of these pugs are victims of neglect and/or abandonment. There is still time for you to vote! Votes are $1 each, with a 3 vote minimum. You can spread your votes across different photos. This year there are currently 91 entries. I have personally entered my own darling pug, Macie into the contest (see above picture in green jacket). She is contestant #14! Help make Macie a calendar pug and also help many adorable, loving pugs in need. See some of the Kentuckiana Pug Rescue canines available for adoption below whom you would directly be benefiting from your donation!

Harley, a slightly overweight 7 year old Pug who was turned over to KPR due to allergies. Harley is completely housebroken and great with other dogs and cats.

Winston, a 13.5 year old pug was a victim of a divorce situation and found himself in a kill shelter. KPR found him and rescued him from the shelter. Winston likes ear rubs and relaxing in any comfy bed nearby.

Dutchess, a petite 10 year old pug who was turned over to KPR due to her owner having health problems. Dutchess loves to play with toys and toss stuffed animals around.

If you don't want to donate money you can also vote for the Kentuckiana Pug Rescue in the Petco Foundation 100 Celebrations Facebook Challenge.
