    Bit to Do

    Masquerade Presented By Pandora Productions

Themes and venues may change over time, but Masquerade by Pandora Productions is always a guaranteed good time. This year's event was held at The Pointe in Butchertown and had a 1920s theme. If you've not had a chance to check out The Pointe, I highly recommend doing so. It's a gorgeous venue for any events you may be having.

People from all walks of life came together in support of Pandora Productions and all the work they do throughout the year. Billy Goat Strut got the party going, and DJ Sleepy T kept us dancing until the party came to a close.

One of the biggest draws of the evening was the silent auction items from local artists like Josh Jenkins, pictured above, along with many others.

All proceeds from the event will be used to directly support community outreach, theater productions and general operations. If you're not familiar with the work that Pandora Productions does throughout the year you can visit their website to learn more about them. Their mission is to entertain, engage and inspire their audience, their community and the greater human community by presenting bold, cutting edge, unique and rarely seen theatrical pieces that speak to the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual, Transgender and Questioning community by revealing the commonality of all people while investigating the diversity of human nature and particularly the nature of sexual orientation through artistic expression. Alongside examining the individual and collective accountability for our society and community, exposing the beauty and dignity of all people and finally igniting and celebrating the unfailing hope and triumph of the human spirit.

We rounded the night out at Play Louisville who was one of the sponsors of the Masquerade. It was a great night of celebrating local talent and joining together individuals from all walks of life in our great city. Thanks to Pandora Productions for a night to remember and for having the Louisville.com team!
