    Bit to Do

Sunday night the great lawn was filled with mud after a torrential downpour earlier in the day.  Finally, The Avett Brothers took the stage to close the three-day Forecastle Music Festival.   They loved coming to Louisville, saying “We are just gonna keep on coming back and keep on coming back and keep on coming back,” and Louisville loved having them here.

This was the last stop for the Avett Brothers after three nights of performances.  They played songs such as “Head Full of Doubt/Road Full of Promise,” “Down with The Shine,” and “Live and Die.”

The storm had no effect on the sound quality of this band.  True Avett Brother fans waited out the storm and stood on the soggy lawn to listen to the brothers jam out and finish off Forecastle right!
