     Old Crow Medicine Show is described as an American string band under many different genres: bluegrass, folk, American Roots Music, old-time, alternative country, and Americana.  The members of the group are Kevin Hayes (guitjo & Vocals), Cory Younts (mandolin, keyboards, drums, & Vocals), Critter Fuqua (slide guitar, banjo, guitar, and vocals), Chance McCoy (guitar, fiddle, banjo, vocals), Ketch Secor (fiddle, harmonica, banjo, & vocals), Gill Landry (slide guitar, banjo, & vocals), and Morgan Jahnig (upright bass). 

    The group got its start traveling from New York state, then eventually settled in North Carolina where they were discovered playing in front of a pharmacy by Doc Watson a folk Icon.  They then relocated to Nashville, Tennessee where they were residents at the Grand Ole Opry.     

    Old Crow Medicine has played many prestigious music festivals such as Bonaroo and Coachella and sold over 800,000 albums.  Recently they were recognized for their hit single, “Wagon Wheel” which received the RIAA’s Platinum certification for selling over 1,000 copies.  They have released four-studio albums- Carry Me Back (2012), Tennessee Pusher (2008), Big Iron World (2006), & O.C.M.S. (2004).
