    Bit to Do

Need to get rid of some stuff that is cluttering up your house? Then the Animal Care Society’s annual yard sale is your answer. The yard sale is May 31st, June 2nd, and June 3rd and they are accepting donations until May 26th. All you need to do is drop off the goods you want to donate at their location,

2207 Westport Road, on the days that they’re open. They’re open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am - 7pm, Fridays and Saturdays from 11am - 5pm, Sundays from 1pm - 5pm, and closed Mondays and Tuesdays. The

Animal Care Society does require that what you donate is clean, working, and have all their parts and pieces.

Donations are tax-deductible to the extent of IRS laws and a donation slip will be provided upon request.

The Shelter is also in need of some volunteers to help during the yard sale. They need people who have time to spare to help go through, sort, and price the donated items for the yard sale.

If you want to volunteer for the yard sale or have questions call

    (502) 426-6303.

All proceeds from the yard sale goes toward the Animal Care Society. It helps with the shelter’s daily care of the dogs and cats that are in need of a new home. The animal care society is a no kill shelter and the annual yard sale is one of their largest fundraisers for their cause.
