    Bit to Do

Most Louisvillians have heard of the murder of 18-year-old Sullivan student Andrew Compton who was allegedly killed in the Highlands by a man he met online. The alleged culprit has confessed, facts have been revealed, but at the end of the day the Compton family still hasn’t found their son’s body as LMPD ended their search for Andrew’s body at a Medora, Ind. landfill last week after an exhaustive search (this is where the dumpster that allegedly contained Andrew’s body was taken).
In the wake of the searches and disappointments, the Compton family is left with only the memories of their beloved. The Compton family will hold a benefit concert at Uncle Pleasant’s in Schnitzelburg and all proceeds will go to the Andrew Compton Memorial Fund for a service that will be held the Monday after Thanksgiving, since the family is deprived funeral.
The benefit concert will be held on December 4th at 8 p.m. at Uncle Pleasant's, at 2126 S. Preston Street. For more information, call (502) 650-7410 or (502) 554-1800, $5 donation to attend.

Anyone who wishes to donate to the "Andrew Compton Memorial Fund" can do so at any PNC bank or by visiting http://mypage.iu.edu/~comptode/Andrew.html.
