Eve Theatre Company Presents Always a Bridesmaid
Eve Theatre Company presents Always a Bridesmaid, a rollicking tale by the popular comedic writing team Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten, three of the most produced playwrights in America. The comedy opens Thursday, May 22 and runs through Sunday, June 1 at The Bard’s Town Theatre. Always A Bridesmaid tells the laugh-out-loud journey of four loyal and determined women who answer the question: "Just how far are you willing to go to keep a promise to a friend?" High school pals Libby Ruth, Deedra, Monette, and Charlie have sworn to be in each other’s weddings, no matter the circumstances (including some of the world’s ugliest bridesmaid dresses). Joining these beleaguered bridesmaids are Kari, Libby Ruth’s newly-married daughter, and Sedalia, the snobby proprietress of the wedding venue.
