This month is Derby themes at Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center and the Frankfort Avenue Business Association along with the Trolley Hop has a complete entertainment venue of arts, music and food laid out for this Fat Friday.

The Fat Friday Trolley Hop gets underway with another entertaining round of featured stops along Louisville's Historic Frankfort Avenue. It's expected to be a hot one, with heat indices hanging out around 100F.
As a part of the F.A.T. Friday Hop, Gallery Janjobe will host the opening of a new exhibit, "Symbols," featuring nine pieces of work by Gena Neumann. Each piece is made of repurposed metal with new materials and is laden with symbolism. Stop by and have a drink and snack, enjoy some live music, and see if you can decode some art.
