Now in its 17th season, Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! is National Public Radio’s Peabody Award-winning quiz show. Host Peter Sagal leads a rotating panel of comedians, humorists and journalists, listener contestants and celebrity guests through a comic review of the week’s news. Contestants vie for the most coveted prize in all of public radio: a custom-recorded greeting by scorekeeper emeritus Carl Kasell for their voicemail.

Enjoy the latest of the Mayor's music and art series, featuring the sounds of Bonnie "Prince" Billy. Held in the intimate setting of the Mayor’s Gallery at historic Louisville Metro Hall, these monthly performances showcase local and regional musicians and artists. Brown-bag lunches are permitted, but due to the historic nature of the Mayor’s Gallery, no outside drinks will be allowed. Louisville Water will provide Louisville pure tap at the performances.

August Wilson's "Seven Guitars"
After serving jail time on a trumped-up vagrancy charge, blues musician Floyd Barton sets out to win back his girl and reclaim his pawned guitar, hoping to make a new hit record. WorldFest

Kentucky Bluegrass and Bourbon Experience

Louisville vs. Auburn Watch Party
Can’t make it to Atlanta this weekend to watch the Cards take on the Tigers? No worries! Join Fourth Street Live! for the Official University of Louisville Game Watch hosted by ESPN Louisville. The tailgate starts at noon, with the Deener Show live on stage with special guest Louisville Legend Marques Maybin. There will be a cornhole tournament at 1:30, along with contests, giveaways, inflatables, and the Louisville cheerleaders! Grilled-out hotdogs and burgers  will be available all afternoon with the game on Fourth Street Live!'s 20-foot LED screen! 48th Kentuckiana Cat Club Championship Cat Show

Three Points Block Party Featuring 1200
Celebrate the completion of Three Points and help them fundraise for more public art in our communities! MUSIC, FOOD, BOOZE, ART, AND MORE!! There will be an unveiling of the preliminary designs for two murals that will be completed in 2016!
There will also be artists painting during the event and guests will be able to silently bid on the artists' work. Proceeds go to the artists and the Three Points fundraiser! Artists featured include: Henry Cunningham, Braylyn Rosco Stewart, Damon Thompson, Robby Burgess, Ben McCloud, and Sam Mattingly.The block party will be outside in the lot adjacent to Three Points (Save-a-lot/Derby Dental). Labor Day Weekend at O'Bannon Woods State Park
Come join us at the Hickory Hollow Nature Center for a weekend of fun. The aroma of food cooking over an open fire fills the air as does the ringing of the blacksmith's hammer striking the anvil. There will be demonstrations on lye soap making, spinning, cooking, woodworking, tomahawk throwing, music and Native American life. See how hay bales were made in the mid-1800's using oxen and an original operational haypress, a fascinating look at pioneer life.

Jeffersonville Steamboat Days
The Steamboat Days Festival is a community celebrations with a focus on the arts, entertainment and a commitment to family friendliness. Several activities will kick the festival off on Friday including a balloon glimmer and live entertainment on the Jeffersonville Riverstage. Discover the Niña and the Pinta
Replicas of Christopher Columbus' the Niña and Pinta are touring together as sailing museums for the purpose of educating the public. They will be at the Waterfront through Labor Day.

Subway Fresh Fit Hike, Bike and Paddle
The Subway Fresh Fit Hike Bike & Paddle is an annual event held every Memorial and Labor Day.  Thousands of participants flock to Waterfront Park to enjoy a morning full of fun.  Bring the entire family for this free, healthy hometown event.  Various fitness demonstrations start the day including yoga, tai chi, zumba, pickleball, NIA and much more.  There are numerous vendor booths available for information and giveaways.  After all of that, take your pick from a 5k hike, 10-mile bike ride or a paddle on the Ohio River. Click here to learn more!
