    Goodwood | Blessing Of The Beer and Tapping Of The Keg

    Join the Ancient Order of Hibernians, and their friends at Goodwood Brewing to celebrate the birthday of the Bourbon Barrel Stout. A special ceremony will bless the beers at the brewery in preparation for the upcoming St. Patrick’s Parade. For this event, a procession lead by a bagpiper, Father Fowler and the Hibernians will lead the way into Goodwood. After a few words from the Ancient Order of Hibernians and Goodwood Brew Crew Father Fowler will bless all the batches of Bourbon Barrel Stout that have been patiently waiting for over three months while the beer aged in Kentucky’s finest Bourbon Barrels.

    Wiley’s Comedy Joint in Dayton, OH is proud to present the one and only Bobcat Goldthwait.     University of Louisville | Astronomy Lecture: "The Origin of the Elements"
    Dr. Jim Lauroesch will show how the elements of Earth, our air and our bodies were made in stars, which then aged and ejected material into space which was then recycled in new stars over the past 13.7 billion years.

    Roux Louisville | Roux's Buku Music & Art Project 2016
    Roux is bringing another New Orleans festival to Louisville! Buku pays homage to their local music and art scene. There will be lots of local art vendors displaying an array of talents. Live music is planned throughout the day with the Derby City Dandies, Lauren Eid, Ryan Conroy and DJ Brios! There will be tarot card reading, freehand temporary tattoos and more! The proceeds from the door, and a portion of proceeds from art sales will go to benefit The Mammoth, a multi-use community art warehouse downtown.

    The Speed Art Museum | 30 Hour Opening Celebration

    The Highlands | St. Patrick’s Parade
    The 2016 Ancient Order of Hibernians' St. Patrick’s Parade theme this year is “100 Years Irish Rising." As many as 150 units are expected again for this year’s parade that will step off at 3 p.m. at Baxter and Broadway proceeding along the Baxter/Bardstown Road corridor. Often called the “people’s” parade, families join a mix of decorated vehicles and groups along the route. As many as 100,000+ people watched or marched in last year’s parade.
