    Atlanta Dream Classic at the KFC Yum! Center
    The Atlanta Dream will host the 2015 Atlanta Dream Classic at the KFC Yum! Center on May 23 to open its preseason schedule. The event, which will feature a doubleheader of WNBA preseason contests, will be highlighted by the return to Louisville of current Dream stars Angel McCoughtry and Shoni Schimmel teams on May 21 and May 22, giving all four teams an opportunity to play each of the other teams in attendance over the three-day period.

    The Last Waltz at Mercury Ballroom
    After the death of The Band’s drummer, Levon Helm, in April of 2012, a small group of Indianapolis musicians decided to get together and play the songs of The Band to honor Mr. Helm’s legacy. As word of their plans began to spread amongst the local music community, the group grew larger and it was decided to recreate The Band’s legendary final show, The Last Waltz. That concert, also a brilliant film and soundtrack directed by Martin Scorsese, features The Band as well as several of the biggest musicians of the day.

    Flags4vets 2015 National Memorial Day Vigil
    Volunteers will form the letters "USA" using 25,000 flags from veterans' graves. When completed, the letters will each be 150' high and all 3 letters together will be 450' wide. These 25,000 flags honor all of America's fallen heroes, from every state in the Union, including military, law enforcement, and fire fighters. The public is invited to assist with placing the flags beginning on Saturday, May 23rd at noon and continuing through the weekend until all 25,000 flags have been placed.
