    There’s so much to do in Louisville every weekend, but this weekend is particularly diverse.     Enjoy music from the Quiet Hollers on your lunch hour, presented by WFPK.

    Kaiju | Cowboy Bebop Anime Matinee
    This weekly event will show this entire animated series (about four episodes per week) on Kaiju's 16-foot screen. Cowboy Bebop explores philosophical concepts including existentialism, existential ennui, and loneliness. This event is 21+

    Zanzabar | Chrome Pony
    Brothers Tyler and Kyle Davis come from their hometown of Nashville to bring rock 'n' roll, punk and world music to Louisville.

    7th Annual MS Society Jam for a Cure
    Greg Foresman and Aaron Montgomery have hosted Jam for a Cure since 2008. All proceeds from this jam go to benefit the National MS Society. Money is raised through the sale raffle tickets (or items that are donated to the cause) and the sale of tickets to the annual concert. This year's event features Greg Foresman, Danny Flanigan, and John Mann with a special tribute to Tim Krekel. This event is 21+

    The Cure Lounge | EmoNite 502
    The Cure Lounge is going to play the saddest songs for you to drink and sing along to, so don't end up wishing you were anywhere else. Dust off those Vans or New Balances, get on your tightest girl jeans with a white studded belt, and flat iron whatever hair you're rocking these days. You've got to be dressed to kill. The stage will be set for you to come and party like it's sometime between 1996 and 2006. This event is 21+

    Dreamland Theater | What is American Culture
    Featuring William Harvey of Juilliard with Cher Von and Tyler Dippold. Founded in 2005 by Juilliard graduate William Harvey, Cultures in Harmony (CiH) forges connections across cultural and national barriers through the medium of music. Through the universal language of music, our projects foster cross-cultural dialogue that improves relations between the U.S. and the rest of the world.

    Kaviar Forge | Rose Forging Blacksmith Workshop
    Kaviar Forge invites you to sign up for their Rose Forging workshop taught by Craig Kaviar. Class sessions are held at the Forge behind Kaviar Gallery on Frankfort Avenue. Students are expected to have their own safety equipment; gloves, leather shoes and eye protection are required. The Forge does supply all needed tools and materials for each project but you are welcome to bring your own.

    Damaged Goods is back and ringing in the New Year with their hilarious and energetic brand of improv comedy.

    The KY Center | WFPK Anniversary Celebration All Star Jam
    91.9 WFPK celebrates 20 years of Radio Louisville this Saturday at the Brown Theatre! Join 91.9 WFPK  for this Louisville All Star Jam featuring Ben Sollee, Wax Fang, Twin Limb, Howell Dawdy, members of Houndmouth, WFPK Sir Microcosm host, Dave Givan, and  a tribute to Tim Krekel with Greg Foresman, Danny Flanigan and John Mann! All proceeds benefit WFPK.     Actors Theatre of Louisville | "4000 Miles"

    The KY Center | Rachmaninoff's Second Coffee Concert
    Music Director Emeritus, Jorge Mester, returns to perform Rachmaninoff’s Second with the Louisville Orchestra this weekend. The grandeur and magnificence of Romanticism comes to life in this performance with guest pianist William Wolfram performing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2. This concert, which also includes Martinů’s Symphony No. 6 and Dances of Galánta by Kodály, provides a dignified and majestic orchestral experience.

    The Alley Theater | "The (Other) Boy Who Lived"
    Many years after Hogwarts the Dark Lord is back in the form of a snake sock puppet living with Draco and plotting his return. Agent 9&3/4 (Neville Longbottom) must team up with W.A.N.D.S. and O.W.L.S to infiltrate Draco's Dark Lotus Casino, all while singing original songs like "Hex Education."
