This weekend Street Russell, one of Louisville's favorite "clean comics", will be coming home to headline the second in a series of two Date Night Shows brought to you by Mid-West Clean Comedy.  Taking place at The Bards Town, Russell will guide you through his Mormon upbringing, life as a psychologist, and the general day-to-day aches and pains of marriage and parenting.

The show is meant to offer an alternative to couples who want to get out of the house together, but don't want to be inundated with the bawdy language that permeates through the walls of most comedy clubs.  As a husband and parent, it's a family friendly brand of comedy that Russell felt was missing in the industry, as he spent years honing his act to be hilarious and squeaky clean.

The special Date Night Show will be Saturday, April 19th at The Bard's Town.  Show time is 8 PM and tickets are $25.

    About Brent Owen

Born and raised in Louisville, I have lived here most of my life (except during a short furlough, when I, lovelorn and naive, followed a girl to Baton Rouge). My roots are here, my family, my friends, and my life are all here. I work primarily as a free-lance writer for a few local and regional publications. I have also written two books (one a memoir, the other a novel) that barring some divine intervention, will probably never see the light of day. I find myself deeply ingrained in the local bar scene, or perhaps better said, I often indulge in the local drinking culture. I love music, movies, comedy, and really just about any other live performance art.
