Matt Graham is a comedian’s comedian.  He’s a guy who twenty-five years ago was going to be the next big thing – at least that’s what his contemporaries thought; his contemporaries being Louis CK, Marc Maron, David Cross, and Janeane Garofalo.  A mental breakdown or two later, and after becoming one of the top ranked Scrabble players in the world (his Scrabble acumen has made him the subject of books and documentaries), Graham has returned to the stage with his critically acclaimed one-man off-Broadway show, This Too Shall Suck.

Matt has appeared on Conan O’Brien four separate times, and even worked as a writer on Saturday Night Live for a period of time, when he wasn’t grinding out the road like a good comic.  Graham, will be performing This Too Shall Suck tonight at The Bard’s Town, the show starts at 8 PM, and tickets are $15.

    About Brent Owen

Born and raised in Louisville, I have lived here most of my life (except during a short furlough, when I, lovelorn and naive, followed a girl to Baton Rouge). My roots are here, my family, my friends, and my life are all here. I work primarily as a free-lance writer for a few local and regional publications. I have also written two books (one a memoir, the other a novel) that barring some divine intervention, will probably never see the light of day. I find myself deeply ingrained in the local bar scene, or perhaps better said, I often indulge in the local drinking culture. I love music, movies, comedy, and really just about any other live performance art.
