And if you show up at The Bards Town tonight, you’ll find that out for yourself. Because Joe McAdam, along with fellow comedians and old friends from the Chicago comedy scene, Charlie Bury and C.J. Toledano are stopping through Louisville on their “Three Nice Boys Comedy Tour.”
Joe McAdam lives in Los Angeles, and arrived there from Kansas via Chicago. McAdam has a high-brow intellectual brand of humor that often comes back to dogs and butts. He has done hilarious web videos reporting from the Exxxotica Expo and The Gathering of The Juggalos. He was a cast member of the Late Live Show which is an improvised comedy show setup to look like a late night talk show. He also been hard at work on The Godzilla Remix Project.
T.J. Toledano is another nice boy. Voted by Steamroller magazine one of the Top 10 Comedians to watch in Chicago, Toledano made the move to Los Angeles where his career has been thriving. He has worked as a writer for The Onion News Network, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” and “Conan.” He also regularly travels the country opening for Joel McHale and Bo Burnham. He has performed at Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Chicago and Bridgetown Comedy Festival – he is also an alumni of Second City, arguably the most well-respected improvisational theater troupes in the country.
They are Charlie Bury is on the rise, building a reputation in Chicago as one of the comedians to see. He has a quirky sense of humor that matches his boyish, cherubic face and often leaves him having awkward exchanges about sandwiches and National Basketball Association.
These Three Nice Boys will be taking the stage at The Bardstown, Thursday May 7th, at 8:00 PM. Tickets will be available at the door.
