    The New Albanian Brewing Company will be hosting a day-long family friendly picnic with lots of music, food, and refreshments suitable for all ages. This event will be held from 10:00 am to sundown on Sunday, July 22 at the Riverfront Amphitheater located by the Ohio River in downtown New Albany. There is parking available on the street, by the YMCA, and by the levee at the foot of Pearl Street.

    Musical entertainment will be provided by many excellent local bands. The schedule is as follows:

    10:00 am: House Music
    12:00 pm: Roz Tate
    1:00 pm: Ben Traughber
    2:00 pm: Five Foot Fish
    3:00 pm: Beeler Attic
    4:00 pm: Jed and the NoiseMakers
    5:00 pm: Porch Possums
    6:00 pm: Whiskey Riders
    7:00 pm: The Fervor
    8:00 pm: Toledo Bend

    Children's activities include a duck pond, face painting, temporary tattoos, an art area and other activities to be determined.

    NABC’s draft truck (NABC refers to her as Rosa L. Stumblebus) will be on on site with a nice selection of old favorite and special releases. All four of NABC’s 10th brewery anniversary beers: Bourbondaddy, Stumblebus, Turbo Hog and Scotch de Ainslie will be available. There’ll also be a special 10th anniversary session ale called Get Off My Lawn. In addition, limited quantities of cask-conditioned Naughty Girl (double dry-hopped) and Oaked Choufftimus will be served while supply lasts.

    If you aren't a beer drinker there will some alternatives available. A Sunday staple of Bank Street Brewhouse is their Bloody Mary Bar. The 'Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar' will move to the Waterfront for this event. An employee will be on hand to guide visitors through garnishes, sauces, and fresh embellishments to help you create a delicious Bloody Mary. River City Winery will also be offering wines and Sangria. If you haven't had their wine, you are missing out. 

    There is a nice selection of food and non-alcholic beverages that will be available too. Feast BBQ (116 W Main St) is roasting a pig, and will be selling: Pork sliders with pickles and onions; pork tacos with cilantro, lime, cotija, and crema; and smoked corn on the cob. Shawn, TJ and Charlestown Pizza Company will be preparing chicken salad croissants, Asian slaw, pasta salad, fruit cups, and other item. NABC is brewing root beer for the event. There will also be water and soft drinks.

    The best part of all is the event is free, no cover charge. Food, drinks, and vending will be cash 'n' carry. Proceeds after expenses will be donated in the form of grants to Rauch Inc., the Isabel Jade Pickhardt Fund, and New Albany First.

    Note: The NABC's Bank Street Brewhouse will be closed on July 22nd so employees can take part in 25 Years of Beer & Loathing.
