    Enjoy locally-made wines, live music, and sales at the same place! Jeffersonville, Indiana will host its sixth annual Wine Walk & Shop event this Friday, July 11 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. In this festive event located in Historic Downtown Jeffersonville, there will be twenty wine tasting stations in the district's shops and restaurants, an assortment of hors d'oeuvres, five live music acts on the sidewalks, and sales at locally-owned shops. Local wineries will also offer tastings and wine by the bottle. The first 500 ticket buyers through the registration area at the start of the event will receive a commemorative glass.

    The Wine Walk & Shop event is organized by 

    the merchants in the area and Jeffersonville Main Street Inc., a nonprofit that focuses on the revitalization of downtown Jeffersonville. It is made possible through the support of

    Jeffersonville Urban Enterprise Association, the City of Jeffersonville, Monarch Beverage Company, Jeff-Clark Preservation, Bales AutoMall, Voss Clark Industries, Al's Cut Rate Liquors, Budget Printing Centers, Winzerwald Winery, Old 502 Winery, Quibble Hill Winery, Taste of Jeffersonville, the Downtown Jeffersonville Merchants Association, and the businesses of downtown Jeffersonville.

    Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 per person on the night of the event.

    The registration area is inside the Glossbrener Garden at the corner of Spring and Chestnut Streets. All participants must be at least 21 years of age. Everyone must show their ID at the registration area to enter, including those who purchased tickets beforehand. Online ticket-purchasers should also present their PayPal receipt to enter. All participating businesses will be clearly marked. All wine must be consumed within the premise of the business where it was received.
