Angel McCoughtry had one great game and one so-so outing while Shoni Schimmel had a pair of decent games.

Here’s a closer look at how the two former University of Louisville stars, who now play for the Atlanta Dream, did in the 11th week of the WNBA season.

McCoughtry averaged 23 points and six rebounds in two games for Atlanta, which went 1-1.

First, she scored 13 points in the Dream’s 78-67 loss at New York on Friday night. McCoughtry was 5-for-9 from the field, including 1 of 1 from 3-point range, and 2 for 4 from the free throw line while also grabbing four rebounds, recording two steals and dishing out one assist in 32 minutes. However she also had five turnovers before fouling out.

Two nights later, though, she had game-highs in points (33) and rebounds (eight) in leading the Dream to a 102-92 win at Connecticut. McCoughtry was 13 for 20 from the field, including 3 of 4 from 3-point range, and 4 for 4 from the free throw line while also recording one steal and one assist against four turnovers in 32 minutes.

So far this season McCoughtry is averaging 20.3 points (third in the league), 5.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists and two steals (second in the WNBA) in the Dream’s 26 games.

Schimmel, meanwhile, averaged 9.5 points and four assists in a pair of starts for Atlanta this past week.

She had seven points, four assists and four steals in Atlanta’s loss to the Liberty on Friday. Schimmel was just 3 for 13 from the field, including only 1 of 6 from 3-point range, and 0 for 1 from the free throw line while also recording one rebound, blocking one shot and committing a pair of turnovers in 29 minutes.

Sunday night she tallied 12 points in the Dream’s win over the host Sun. Schimmel was 4 for 5 from the field, including 4 for 4 from 3-point range, while also dishing out four assists (vs. only one turnover) and grabbing one rebound in just 19 minutes.

Schimmel is averaging 7.1 points, 3.3 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 18.7 minutes per game this season.

Atlanta (10-16), which is in last place in the Eastern Conference, hosts Connecticut at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday before playing at Indiana on Friday night then hosting Chicago on Saturday night.
