FiX Nightclub, positioning itself to potentially be a power player on Main Street, is showing signs of becoming Louisville's Friday night go to place. With pulsing music, local DJs, and great drink prices, it is hard to turn down. $3 gets you into FiX, and drink specials until midnight, hardly breaking the bank. Tucked away from the touristic 4th Street Live!, and a short distance from the YUM! Center, attendees get the vibe of an uptown, big city nightclub without the insane crowds.

The split level club offers you an opportunity to get lost in the music, complete with smoke and lights. Local DJs keep the place rocking until the wee hours of the morning. Club goers can escape the dance floor by heading to two different bar areas each equipped with VIP lounges. FiX opened in early August and since then has been getting rave reviews. This club is unlike anything else in Louisville.

After talking to the FiX management and staff, one gets the sense that these guys are indeed a team. Rather than competing with bars around them such as O'Sheas, they encourage club goers to meander around Main Street. Traffic increasing around Whiskey Row and the revitalizing of Main Street could potentially mean big business.  They realized what Louisville was lagging in nightlife, and recognized a need for something new and different. The staff could not have been more accommodating or enthusiastic about working there.

Friday night FiX also opened it's doors to Dayglow attendees who wanted to continue their electronic music buzz. People in white T-shirts and neon paint were encouraged to keep the party going, turning the night into a highly successful party.

FiX is open every Friday night at 10:00 pm until 4 am.
