Blue tea length skirt, dainty cream colored blouse, wedges tinged in butter cup yellow. I spotted this incredible ensemble from my seat outside of the Subway on Main Street. Not two minutes later, a lady in beautiful floral flock crossed the street. The dress had a black background infused with strategically positioned, brightly colored flowers.

I had no camera  or phone on me, so there's no evidence of these amazing fashion choices. But, the memory speaks volumes about Louisville fashion, Main Street fashion in particular. Main Street is a hip, trendy area, and also a central area of business, on the cusp of what's now and maybe what's next on the fashion horizon.

It took less than two minutes for me to spot some very enviable fashion. I have no idea where the pieces came from, how much they cost, or whether they're still available for purchase. It's just refreshing to see that you don't have to in a city like New York to see fashion on the rise.

Next time I'll have my camera with me!
