A new twist on family fun in Louisville is happening on Sunday, March 9 in downtown Louisville along iconic Museum Row on Main Street. The Louisville Family Fun Experience Series is a refreshing new look at the way families play together in our city. No longer about standing in long lines, watching your child get their balloon animal, and spending 3 or 4 hours walking around aimlessly while your kids try to have fun and you try to entertain yourselves. The Experience Series, as blog founder, owner, and manager Stephanie White has named it, is all about experiencing fun TOGETHER, as a family, and making memories instead of the usual suspects of making a long day last even longer. She says, “We have been telling you about what’s happening around town for families for over 4 years. We know events. Now, it’s time for experiences.”
The Instafam Hunt takes place on March 9 starting at 2pm and will last until 4:30pm. The hunt begins at the Kentucky Science Center. From the description on the website, Instafam-ers will “be able to go on an interactive scavenger hunt using Instagram. By exploring Museum Row on Main, families will go in and out of museums and gather clues along the way, snapping silly photos and getting to know other families in a fun engaging format.” Prizes will be awarded, food will be provided, and fun photo opps and surprises will be found along the way. Event goers will have full access to the Frazier Museum during the Instafam!
