New works and performances are to be featured in Louisville Ballet's Choreographers' Showcase, which opens tomorrow.

The Choreographers' Showcase will take place from Jan. 24-26 at 8 p.m. each night.  All performances are to happen at the Louisville Ballet studio at 315 E. Main Street in downtown Louisville.

Ticket prices are $25 for non-subscribers and $20 for subscribers.  Tickets in advance are strongly recommended and can be purchased by calling the Louisville Ballet box office at 502-583-2623 or going to the box office at 315 E. Main Street.

Choreographers' Showcase provides audience members an new, intimate look at Louisville Ballet's new works, created by the artists and performed at the Louisville Ballet Studio.  The performances will be a mixture of contemporary, classical, ensemble, and many things in between.

Louisville Ballet will return to the mainstage with performances of Romeo and Juliet on March 1 and 2.  Auditions for the company's 2013-14 season, meanwhile, will take place on Feb. 10. More information on both events can be found at the Louisville Ballet website.
