    Scarlet's Bakery Ginger Spice Cookies

Arriving just in time for the Christmas season: Scarlet’s Bakery. They’re set to open their doors and hearts to Louisville next week on December 16. Scarlet’s Bakery is a classic bake shop on a restoration mission. Rachelle Starr, Founder of Scarlet Hope and her team restored a 100-year-old building, use old family recipes and help many lives by giving their employees a second chance at a new career path.

This week’s best bite is Scarlet Bakery’s ginger spice cookies. One bite of this cookie and you’re immediate ready to deck the halls. Often ginger cookies can be dry but not this ginger spice cookie. It’s moist, has a flawless blend of flavors and is festively decorated.

Other notable treats from Scarlet Bakery include the red velvet cupcakes, Moroccan sugar bites and the toffee crunch brownie. Scarlet Bakery is located on Oak Street.
