Established in 1999, Napa River Grill restaurant has been a go-to for Louisville area residents for several years. With the influx of so many new restaurants, it’s easy to forget about our treasured classics. A recent visit did not disappoint.
This week’s best bite goes to Napa River Grill’s Chef’s Special Scallops. Executive Chef, Brian Curry focused on flavor while adding a nice combination of textures to create the perfect dinner dish. The scallops were accompanied by a delicious mixture of quinoa, roasted corn and Brussels sprouts ($33). Here’s to it becoming a permanent addition to their menu.
Don’t forget to order the creamy house-made tomato soup covered in puff pastry and the Caesar salad served in an edible and crisp parmesan bowl ($8). These dishes are Napa River Grill classics and pair nicely with the complimentary sweet cornbread. The cornbread is served in iron mini-skillets and topped soft jalapeno butter. The best combo for the falling temperatures.
Napa River Grill is located on Herr Lane in the Westport Village. On Sundays, they have a brunch buffet starting at 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a large menu including desserts and an omelet station.
