Grind Burger Kitchen continues to move on up. Owners, Liz and Jess Huot have taken their passion for local grass-fed beef from the “little burger truck that could” to a newly renovated location in NuLu.
This week’s best bite of the week is Grind Burger Kitchen’s B&B burger. The B&B is a grass fed beef patty with brie cheese, bacon and habanero or apricot jam ($14). This is one of the best burgers in Louisville. It had everyone driving around town trying to find the food truck and continues to be a favorite as Grind Burger transitioned into a brick and mortar location.
Other notable favorites from Grind Burger include to-die-for Brussel sprouts with brown butter ($4) and the kale salad ($3.5). The chain burger (a special off-menu item) is American cheese, yellow mustard, onion, house-made smoked ketchup and spicy dill pickles. It’s everything you love about that place with the clown but better. Here’s to hoping it gets a permanent spot on the menu this year. Grind Burger is located in NuLu on East Market Street.
