The popular and successful Feast BBQ in New Albany opened their second location in the old Cake Flour spot in Nulu. Feast has been one of my go-to places to get delicious made-from-scratch food. I was thrilled to try out their new joint this week. Let me tell you, Ryan Rogers and his crew brought over all their culinary skills.
Although every bite I placed into my mouth was delectable, this week’s best bite goes to Feast BBQ's mac & cheese. The crunchy top followed by the gooey, creamy texture of the cheese gives you that down-home feeling inside. It's served in a little tin container that keeps the macaroni nice and toasty. In the words of Goldilocks, it's just right. It's not too cheesy and it's not too runny. The cheesy flavors sneak up on you and you can't put your fork down. Seriously, you can't eat just one bite.
Mac & cheese not your thing? No worries. Feast is a BBQ place after all. I highly recommend their chicken, pork or brisket tacos. You can mix and match meats, BBQ sauces and taco styles. The tacos are available in American style with cole slaw and green onions or Mexican style with cabbage, cotija, and cilantro. I find both styles unique and complimentary to any meat option. My other favorites include the fried pickles and the collard greens.

About Feast BBQ
BBQ is our passion. We strive to produce the best smoked meats possible. This takes time, dedication, and the constant pursuit of perfection. It takes a long time for us to make our BBQ and we hope you can taste our patience. Seating and food is first come, first serve. We do not take reservations. Ordering and service is at the front counter. We like kids, but this probably isn’t the best place for the very young ones as we don’t have any highchairs or booster seats. Vegetarian, gluten-free, and soy-free options available, but no vegan options.
