Abbey Road on the River, the largest and longest-running Beatles tribute festival in North America, is coming to the Belvedere Memorial Day weekend, but Fab Four fans can get a taste as early as next month.

A preview concert to benefit DuPont Manual’s Youth Performing Arts School will take place on Saturday, April 23. The centerpiece of the show will be the Beatles’ Grammy Award-winning soundtrack album LOVE, originally produced by longtime Beatles producer Sir George Martin and his son Giles, and re-created by three bands onstage. With All You Need is Love from Canada, The Newbees from Cincinnati, and BritBeat from Chicago, a splendid time is guaranteed for all.

The benefit, which starts at 7:30 p.m., will be held in the Main Stage Theater at the Youth Performing Arts School, 1517 South Second Street. Tickets are available now for $12.00 and $10.00 at www.ypas.org. For more information, call 485-8355.
