    St. James Art Fair 2014

    The 56th Annual St. James Court Art Show features over 700 artists from around the U.S. Held in a beautiful Victorian neighborhood, this 4 square block, outdoor art show runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No pets.

    Unfair 2014

    The UNFAIR is an annual art fair located in the backyard of the Mag Bar in Louisville, Ky. on the first weekend of October. It was started by Paul Harshaw and Greg Edwards as an alternative to the St. James Art Fair. 15 years strong The UNFAIR hopes to continue to be beacon of local artists for years to come!

    The October Flea Off Market

    The October market will be back at Fresh Start Growers Supply Nearly 200 vendors will be selling everything under the sun including musical instruments, jewelry, clothing, accessories, soaps, terrariums, and a variety of local fine arts and crafts. Also featured will be farm-fresh goods, vintage clothing, records, books, antiques, curiosities, and tons of cool used stuff, not to mention great music, tarot readings, and all kind of esoterica. The Flea Off Market will also have restaurants and food trucks focusing on locally sourced ingredients accompanied by seasonal beers and cocktails. Music provided all weekend by Your Local Record Show D.J.’s and there will be live music on Friday night.

    The "World's Largest Halloween Party!" at the Louisville Zoo

    Join the Louisville Zoo for an evening of magical Halloween fun for the whole family as storybook scenes come to life with costumed characters and trick-or-treating throughout the Zoo for kids 11 and under.

    Visit Mumpkin the Giant Talking Pumpkin and wander through Pumpkinville, USA with its hay maze and hundreds of glowing pumpkins. Take fun photos with a T-Rex, giant crayons and a mermaid. The Zoo is transformed and you are part of the magic!

    More than 30 bands performing over two days, including Kid Rock, Judas Priest, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Limp Bizkit, Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington, Volbeat, Papa Roach and many more. The weekend destination festival will feature the finest local Louisville food and drink experience: bourbon exhibitions, gourmet man food, local craft beers, celebrity chefs and more.     Down Syndrome of Louisville Walk and Fun Run

    Over 3,000 DSL Walk/Run participants are anticipated to celebrate the achievements of individuals with Down Syndrome.

    Live entertainment is provided by talented individuals with Down Syndrome; Michel Bush and the DSL All-Star Band, Special K, a local rapper, the DSL Dance Troupe, and special guest appearances.

    Amateur Ballroom Dance Fundraising Showcase

    Amateur Ballroom Dance, Inc is a non-profit organization holding fundraisers to provide grants for children who qualify. They are hosting a ballroom dance showcase, which is open to all amateurs and professionals in the region. The cost to come and watch the show is $10 per person. Seating is reserved so please call in advance. There will be examples of Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Viennese Waltz, Cha-Cha, Swing, Samba, Rumba, Bolero and Mambo/Salsa. There will be beginner level dancers as well as championship level dancers.
