    University of Louisville’s French Film Fest: "Ernest & Celestine"
    This utterly charming animated film about an interspecies friendship is based on a series of children’s books by the Belgian author-illustrator Gabrielle Vincent (1929–2000) and comes from the makers of "Triplets of Belleville" and "Secret of Kells." University of Louisville’s French Film Fest with a different award-winning film shown for free each week. The films offered include classics, animation, documentary, comedy and drama. All films are in French, with English subtitles.

    Luke Bryan at the KFC Yum! Center
    Reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan will bring his "That's My Kind of Night Tour" to the KFC Yum! Center with special guests Randy Houser and Dustin Lynch.  Bryan wrapped 2013 having sold-out all dates on his “Dirt Road Diaries Tour,” performing for 1.3 million fans and started 2014 with all nineteen shows on the first leg dates of the “That’s My Kind of Night Tour” selling out.

    The Kentucky Opera Presents A Streetcar Named Desire
    Kentucky Opera completes the BROWN-FORMAN 2014-15 SEASON with a company premiere of André Previn and Philip Littell’s adaptation of Tennessee Williams’ powerful story, A Streetcar Named Desire. The opera in three acts was commissioned for and premiered by San Francisco Opera in 1998 conducted by the composer and directed by Colin Graham.

    Louisville Jewish Film Festival: “Above and Beyond”
    The 17th Annual Louisville Jewish Film Festival strives to show the richness and diversity of the Jewish experience by presenting the best contemporary international films. Through feature films, shorts, documentaries and student films, as well as conversations with guest speakers, the festival explores Jewish identity with the hope of increasing tolerance and educating its audiences. Above and Beyond is the movie for Sunday, February 15. This gripping documentary produced by Nancy Spielberg and directed by Roberta Grossman, director of Hava Nagila, combines archival footage and interviews to depict the history of the pilots who laid the foundation for the Israeli Air Force in 1948. This ragtag band of brothers not only turned the tide of the Independence war, they also laid the groundwork for the Israeli Air Force.
