Filson’s Bourbon Salon at Oxmoor Farm
The first of a series of Bourbon-themed events will take place on June 5thin the library of historic Oxmoor Farm. Attendees will benefit from the knowledge of various Bourbon experts as well as compelling discussion and stories, and of course Bourbon tastings. This event brings together Susan Reigler, Fred Minnick, and Chet Zoeller, whose books focus on the heritage of Kentucky’s Distilling Industry. The group will discuss the role of distilling in Kentucky and how it has contributed to the growing Bourbon tourism industry in the state.

Republic Bank First Friday Trolley Hop along Main and Market
The First Friday Trolley Hop is an art show, tourist attraction, street party, and celebration of downtown Louisville that brings new visitors and new life to the Main and Market corridor. The Trolley Hop takes place on the first Friday of each month from 5-11 p.m., rain or shine. Although most of the galleries close around 9 p.m., the restaurants, clubs, and shops will remain open and the trolleys run until 11 p.m. The First Friday Trolley Hop can be boarded at any trolley stop along the route on Market and Main Street, between Campbell and 10th Street. Free parking is available at Slugger Field, Main Street at Jackson, and the 4th St. Live! garage after 6 p.m. Free parking is also available on the street after 6 p.m.
