    First annual Louisville Fitness Festival for Louisville Girls Leadership! The class will include a warmup from Jeffrey Howard, 30 minutes of the pure barre technique from Karen Mumme, intervals from Jill Helton Wood and buti yoga from Dana McGowan! Several vendors and a cash bar will be located on site for anyone who is not able to get into the class!

    Jim Beam Father's Day Bourbon-que
    Jim Beam invites all fathers and bourbon enthusiasts who are of legal drinking age to join 7th generation Beam Master Distiller and Jim Beam’s great-grandson Fred Noe, and his son Freddie, at the Jim Beam American Stillhouse for a VIP bourbon experience. Attendees will enjoy bourbon-inspired food from Fred’s Smokehouse, have an opportunity to participate in a tasting of America’s native spirit led by Fred himself and embark on a guided tour of the Jim Beam distillery.

    Heaven & Evan: Bourbon + Tasting Tour
    Having a well-rounded, palette-pleasing bourbon experience doesn’t have to take an entire day. Bourbon lovers can now sign up for Heaven & Evan, a unique exclusive tour and tasting experience organized by Mint Julep Tours. The experience transports you from downtown Louisville to nearby Bardstown and back in just five and a half hours, making it the perfect option for people looking to maximize their time.     Each year on the Belvedere in downtown Louisville, the Foundation holds the Kentuckiana Pride Festival, a place where the LGBT community and its allies can meet and celebrate, enjoying a variety of food, entertainment and showcases from local and regional businesses and organizations.

    “The Boiled Peanut Hour” A Live Cooking Show About Southern Identities
    Louisville Chef Edward Lee, of 610 Magnolia and MilkWood, will team up with writers Matt Lee and Ted Lee, authors of three award-winning cookbooks about the South, to present a live cooking show in the Bingham Theatre. “The Boiled Peanut Hour” is an hour-plus-long cooking, storytelling, and trash-talking show that sees the three Lees cooking favorite dishes from the Southern canon that illuminate strongly-held beliefs about what it means to be a southerner. Bourbon tastings are included during the show, and afterward, a reception featuring a selection of the recipes from the show, prepared by MilkWood, will take place in the Sara Shallenberger Brown Lobby of the Theatre. The reception will offer an opportunity to meet the players and purchase autographed cookbooks.

    Yelp! Game Night at Resurfaced: Bourbon Edition
    The Yelp Game Night at ReSurfaced will include oversized yard -- or, rather, parking lot -- games to compete in while sipping on Kentucky's finest bourbon as well as beer and wine. Yelp Elite Squad members get a free Yelp flask. The first 25 Elites who come up to the Yelp table will also get a free drink ticket from Resurfaced.     Project Metanoia - Release Party/Gallery Exhibition
    For Project Metanoia, a group of ten chosen conceptual photographers based in the Louisville/Lexington/Cincinnati community collaborated to create a set of unique and impactful images to be released in a gallery and for digital release. One unique word was chosen as the concept for the photographs, (Metanoia). Then each photographer created one impressive image using the location and the word as the foundation. Each print will be hung and released to a party of artists, musicians, stylists, friends, peers and media. The prints will be auctioned off and the proceeds will go to Fund for the Arts, a Louisville charity that supports building creativity in schools and programs.

    The Filson Historical Society presents Moon Pies and Moonshine
    You don’t want to miss The Filson’s annual Moon Pies and Moonshine summer picnic! In the historic setting of Oxmoor Farm, this event includes a fried chicken dinner, live music by The Juggernaut Jug Band, educational information about the history of distilling, as well as dancing, yard games, and fun for the whole family. Limestone Branch Distillery, Boundary Oak Distillery and Kentucky Peerless Distillery will be providing moonshines for tasting.
