Garvin Gate Blues Festival
The 20th anniversary of Garvin Gate Blues Festival is "A Tribute to Muddy Waters and Chicago Blues". Garvin Gate Blues Festival is an annual two-day arts and music festival in the Old Louisville neighborhood of Louisville, KY. It features local and national performers and is considered to be one of the most prestigious blues festivals between Chicago and Mississippi.
Oak Street and Garvin Place will both be closed off to traffic for two days while bands perform on one of our two stages. In addition to the live entertainment the festival has an array of food and drink vendors, along with over 50 crafts booths. Nearby off-street parking is available on a first-come basis.
Due to the large crowds we ask that you leave your pets at home, service dogs only, and please, no coolers, cans, or bottles in the festival area. Supporting our parking lot on Fourth Street and our food and drink vendors within the festival area goes a long way to help pay for this free event.
