    ReSurfaced kicks off again in Downtown Louisville this month! If you have not seen or heard of Resurfaced, the urban area's mission is to explore creative ways to pre-vitalize vacant and underutilized urban spaces by creating low-cost investments that activate the space now rather than waiting for big, long-term developments to take shape. This year Resurfaced has a bourbon theme.

    PNC Broadway in Louisville Presents “Pippin” at Whitney Hall
    “Pippin” is back for the first time since it thrilled audiences 40 years ago. The Tony Award winner for Best Musical Revival was declared by The New York Times “Astonishing. A Pippin for the 21st century.” With a beloved score by Tony nominee Stephen Schwartz ("Godspell," "Wicked"), Pippin tells the story of a young prince on a death-defying journey to find meaning in his existence.     Denim & Diamonds Gala Celebration at Mellwood Arts Center
    It’s time to break out your finest casual and Western chic – cowboy hats and all -for the 8th Annual Denim & Diamonds Gala. Proceeds go to benefitting the Parkinson Support Center and the Parkinson's patients and families the organization serves in Louisville and other communities throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.

    Crescent Hill Garden Tour
    The 21st Annual Crescent Hill Garden Tour will feature a number of private gardens in the historic Crescent Hill neighborhood.In addition, the historic Peterson Dumesnil House and its elegant gardens will be open for free tours throughout the day. The Tour begins at the Peterson-Dumesnil House, 301 South Peterson Avenue, where tickets will be sold stating at 9 a.m.

    Butchertown Art Fair
    Attendees are encouraged to bring pet supplies such as food, toys and flea and tick medications to donate to the Saving Sunny Organization, which works to reduce the flow of pit bull terriers into shelters and assist dog owners in underserved areas. The event will include over 80 art and craft vendors, food trucks, beer, wine and cocktails, children's activities, street performers, live music and more.

    The Flea Off Market returns for the dog days of summer at Fresh Start Growers Supply.
