Fandomfest is the premier show for fans to gather and share their love of pop culture, film, comics, anime, sci-fi, horror, fantasy, books, films, toys, cosplay, steampunk and much more. This year's celebrity guests include Pete Rose, Reggie Jackson, Carrie Fisher, Billie Piper, Kevin Smith, Josh McDermitt and many more.

Legends Series feat. Mike Veach
Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Famer Mike Veach headlines this season’s final installment of the Kentucky Derby Museum’s Legends Series. Hosted by Museum Bourbon Authority and Wall Street Journal Best Selling Author Fred Minnick, the Legends Series is an ongoing celebration of the culture, people and history of bourbon. Minnick will interview Veach in the style of a journalistic talk show, and the event will conclude with a Q&A segment. Veach will lead the crowd in a tasting of three drinks, including two limited release expressions. Cost of admission includes appetizers and a tasting of the three bourbons.

Toast to Troops
Bristol Bar and Grille Highlands will kick off the planning for the Warrior Empowerment Foundation’s annual Tribute to Troops Benefit. The “Toast to Troops” event will feature drink specials from Buffalo Trace. Partial proceeds from everything sold between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. will benefit the Warrior Empowerment Foundation, which serves, supports and empowers injured members of the United States’ Armed Forces and their caregivers.

Art for the Animals 2015
The 19th annual “Art for the Animals” (AFTA) will benefit the Shamrock Pet Foundation. There will be a live and silent auction showcasing original artwork from dozens of well-known regional and national artists. Food and drink from some of Louisville’s most popular restaurants will be featured, as well as beer, wine and bourbon tastings. Musical entertainment will be provided by DJ Sorise. Shamrock will also have a number of pets available for adoption during the evening.

Lagunitas Beer Dinner at Varanese
The evening will feature guest speaker Greg Hoben from Beer House Distributors and a four-course dinner paired with various craft beers from the brewery based in Chicago and Petaluma. The brewery is known for iconoclastic interpretations of traditional beer styles and irreverent descriptive text and stories on its packaging. The company is the fifth top selling craft brewery in the U.S. The menu will consist of Reception Czech Style Pilsner First Course Little Sumpin’ Ale Crispy Shrimp, Pork and Red Skin Potatoes Tossed in a Spicy Honey Glaze, Imperial Stout Cream Cheese Blonde Topped with Imperial Stout and Dried Cherry Ice Cream and much more.

St. Joe's Picnic For The Kids
Generations of friends and family gather every August for the annual picnic at St. Joseph Children's Home to play games, visit, eat, drink, and volunteer. On average, over 50,000 people attend on Picnic Day!

Flea Off Market
Over 100 vendors will be offering a multitude of hand-made items including musical instruments, jewelry, clothing, accessories, soaps, terrariums and a variety of local fine arts and crafts. Also featured will be farm-fresh goods, vintage clothing, records, books, antiques, curiosities, tons of cool used stuff, not to mention great music and live entertainment. There will be drinks, shopping, grub and entertainment for folks of all ages. The Flea Off Market will also have restaurants and food trucks focusing on locally sourced ingredients accompanied by seasonal beers and cocktails. Jacob Resch is a talented young musician from Floyds Knobs, Indiana. Now 20 years old, Jacob started playing the guitar at the age of eight. TOUR DE PORK TURTLE RUN WINERY
Come out to Turtle Run Winery and hit the beautiful rolling terrain of southern Indiana on Le Tour De Pork Ride. Choose either the 25 or 50 mile course.
