    Louder Than Life Festival
    Louder Than Life is a music, whiskey and "gourmet man food" festival. The lineup of bands for 2015 includes Rob Zombie, Godsmack, Seether, ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more. Tickets are still available!

    St. James Court Art Show
    The St. James Court Art Show is a juried fine arts and fine crafts show that hosts an impressive 750 artists from North America. Held in the heart of historic Old Louisville among the country’s largest collection of Victorian homes, the St. James Court Art Show has for over five decades provided our neighborhood, city and state with a rich cultural and artistic legacy.

    Give Local Louisville Rally
    To build excitement around Give Local Louisville, the Community Foundation of Louisville is hosting a rally from 11:30 - 1 on Thursday, October 1, at 4th Street Live. The emceed program will feature special guests, as well as interviews with some of our participating nonprofit partners. If you can’t attend the rally, you can still ‪#‎GiveLocalLou‬ here!

    Simmons College Sponsors Community & Student Block Party
    Simmons College kicks off its first semester as a designated Historical Black College and University with sponsoring a community and student Rock the Block Party! Over 30 vendors will gather on Thursday October 1st between 1-7 pm to provide college information, historical tours, financial education, employment, career opportunities, community resources, food trucks, music and entertainment for all ages.

    Louisville International Festival of Film
    7th annual "Louisville Festival of Film" (LIFF) features a 25th reunion of the cast of "Tremors." Cast members will be on hand for the opening night at The Louisville Science Center with red carpet arrivals at 5:30 p.m. The 3-day festival will showcase over 120 films in various venues including The Galt House, The Louisville Science Center, The Louisville Public Library and more. Festival features Youth Film Festival on Friday night at The Louisville Slugger Museum and closing ceremonies at Captain's Quarters on Saturday night.

    Louisville UnFair
    Founded in 1997 by Paul Harshaw and Greg Edwards, the annual UnFair Art Show is an institution in Old Louisville. Each year, thousands of art lovers come out to mingle among friends and imbibe vast quantities of beer and spirits all while music and creativity fills the air. All art is local, affordable and ready-to-buy.
    Traditionally, the Unfair embraces vice and subversiveness. It is an art show, for locals by locals that strives to exemplify Louisville culture during the behemoth St. James Court Art Show a block up the street. The eclectic mix of creative minds that participate include a wide variety of styles and techniques.

    The Louisville Ballet Presents: Coppélia
    Artistic Director Robert Curran, along with an exciting team of local artists brings new life to this classic tale. Experience a fresh reimagining of this beloved autumnal story, now set in Louisville’s own Germantown during the fall of 1917, just as the United States joins WWI.

    Norton Sports Health Great Pumpkin 10K
    The Norton Sports Health Great Pumpkin 10K is a run/walk that offers a scenic course in the Parklands of Floyds Fork. Along with the 10K, there will also be a Wellness Festival and a 3/4-mile fun run on the Egg Lawn. Participants can register on-site race morning beginning at 7:15am.

    Roux's One Year Anniversary Throwdown
    One year strong, and we plan to party all night long! Come join us as Roux celebrates their first year in Louisville. Sink or Swim Art Gallery will be on hand with various local artists' wares. Tarot Card readings from Louisville's own, Lady Vanessa, will be available all day. Face painting by Whet Your Palette, and you can even paint your own canvas to take home! Sideshow performer, Octo Claw, will be on site with entertainment from 8pm-10pm, including fire act after sunset! Live music from 6pm - 2am including Bourbonville Bruskers from 6pm-8pm, The Frisky Frolics from 8pm-10pm, and Rick Bendetto and the Vendettas from 10pm-2am. Food and drink specials for all!

    Join us for some Mountain Bluegrass music, food trucks, beer, and an overall good time! Rebecca Minnick, Leigh Ann Yost, and The Sugarbeats will bring our 1790s Log Barn to life with the sounds of the Bluegrass as Soldier's BBQ and Against the Grain Brewery tantalize our taste buds.

    Nunnlea Craft Fair
    The 9th Annual Nunnlea Craft Fair takes place at the 155-year-old historic Nunnlea Home. There will be artists in each room as well as on the front porch and the front yard. These talented craft artists will be offering a wide variety of quality handmade items including, jewelry, gourd art, needlework, glass, basketry, wood crafts, pottery and more.

    Good Old War at Haymarket Whiskey Bar
    Good Old War is a band hailing from Langhorne, Pennsylvania, United States who formed in 2008. Since their debut, they have released three albums along with two E.Ps, they have toured all over the world and look set to become one of the most acclaimed new names in folk-rock. They'll be at Haymarket promoting their new album, "Broken Into Better Shape."

    15 Minutes of Fame: A Mini Warhol Film Festival
    If you missed the chance to see the first public Louisville showing of "The Chelsea Girls" on Saturday, come see the second showing Sunday. Or better still, come to both!
