    Two-Year Birthday Party and Trolley Hop Event
    The Reynolds Grocery Company will be celebrating two years of business on Friday May 29th. It has been an honor and a privilege to bring the best fresh and local foods to the Clifton neighborhood and the city of Louisville for the last two years. Come on down during the FAT Trolley hop and help us celebrate. We will have some good old time string music playing and snacks made from our best local veggies and products.

    Cards Under the Stars: Frozen Sing-a-Long
    UofL will cool the hot summer temps down May 29 with a free sing-a-long screening of the Disney film Frozen. The film will kick off the sixth season of the free Cards Under the Stars summer movie series at 6:30 p.m. on the lawn between the Natural Sciences Building and Grawemeyer Hall. The film begins at dusk. Pre-movie activities include:
    • Meet and greet with Anna and Elsa
    • Children’s inflatables and games
    • Appearances by members of the Louisville League of Mascots
    • Concessions will be available for purchase from Sweet ‘N’ Savory and Red Top Gourmet Hot Dogs.
    Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and picnic baskets and coolers with snacks and drinks to make for a comfortable evening. Parking is available in the lot next to Grawemeyer Hall (2301 S. Third St.) and behind Ernst Hall (216 Eastern Parkway).

    Will Hoge at Mercury Ballroom
    Grammy-nominated recording artist Will Hoge catapulted into the national spotlight with the release of his top-selling single “Strong” which is featured on his newest album “Never Give In.” Will Hoge, who at one point attended Western Kentucky University, will be returning to Kentucky and performing at the Mercury Ballroom on Friday, May 29 - presented by New Country Q 103.1.

    The Keg Fest of Ale in Clarksville
    The Fest of Ale will feature sampling of more than 100 craft beers in a grassroots beer festival environment. Fest of Ale will also feature food provided by the Men’s Group of St. Anthony’s; and has provided over 4 scholarships to students last year alone. Keg Liquors Fest of Ale seeks to bring awareness and monetary gifts for Crusade for Children as part of our event objective.  Additionally, we want to further craft beer in Indiana by providing a premier tasting event that embodies the craft beer lifestyle.  
     
    NEW TO 2015: 10TH ANNIVERSARY TAPPING! Includes beers that will be timed tapped that consist of the best craft beers locally and throughout the country. These specialty ales will be either 10% ABV or higher or the brewery’s own Anniversary Ale.

    Secrets of Louisville Chefs Culinary Experience at Bourbon Barrel Foods
    Join us in Kitchen Studio at Bourbon Barrel Foods to be in the LIVE TV audience as you watch a taping of “Secrets of Louisville Chefs.” You’ll see two show tapings as Louisville’s top chefs cook with Tim Laird, Brown-Forman’s Chief Entertaining Officer and Kevin Harned, WAVE 3 TV Chief Meteorologist.     Bluegrass Optimist Club 1st Annual Trivia night
    The Bluegrass Optimist Club will be hosting a Trivia Night. Get your friends together for an evening of fun! We will have food, drinks, auctions and raffles, all to raise money for the Bluegrass Optimist Club and their endeavors in the community. There will be 10 rounds of 10 questions, each round being a different topic. The table with the most points at the end of the 10th round, will be declared the winner and the table will win a $200.00 cash award!
