Urban Attic is tucked away off Bardstown Road, where they have been located for 4 years. Owner Amy Schuler combined her love of fashion and retail background to open the consignment boutique. Always a fan of thrifting, but understanding that sometimes it can be hard to sort through the racks and rack of clothes; the idea for Urban Attic was born. She wanted to take the consignment aspect and have it reflect current trends set in an easy to shop, pleasing environment.
Specializing in both men’s and women’s fashion, their ever expanding repertoire of brands has grown since their conception. Focusing on bring in on trend designers, labels, and trends has allowed the team to cultivate a strong brand within the store.
Amy says they have developed quite the client base over the past few years, both consigners and shoppers. Her main goal for the shop is ensure a great experience for both parties. Starting the business at the ripe age of 25 Amy has eyes set on growing the business over the next several years. Her advice to anyone looking to follow their dreams is to just do it. Go with your gut, don’t be scared, and remember why you started doing it.
