Dr. Seuss characters come to life on the Silver Creek High School stage in Seussical: The Musical, which opens on Friday.

Seussical: The Musical performances will take place on Nov. 9, 10, 16, and 17 at 7: 30 p.m. each night.  Performances on Nov. 11 and 18 will happen at 6:30 p.m.  All performances are to happen at Silver Creek High School, located at 557 Renz Ave. in Sellersburg, IN.

Tickets for each show are $12 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, and $6 for students.  A VIP upgrade, which includes better seating, refreshments, and more, is just an extra $3 per person.  All tickets can be purchased at the door or by using a ticket form at the Silver Creek High School theatre website.

Seussical: The Musical brings Dr. Seuss characters to the stage in a family-friendly way!  The central plot focuses on Horton, who faces two challenges: protecting the Whos while also protecting an egg left by the lazy Mayzie La Bird.  Faced with ridicule, danger, and even a trial, Horton continues doing what he has to do.  Eventually for Horton, the power of friendship, loyalty, family, and community win out.

More information on the show can be found at the Silver Creek High School theatre website.
