Summer lovin' will be happening on the Silver Creek High School stage this weekend when the school theatre group presents Grease starting tonight.

Grease performances are to happen on Mar. 1, 2, and 8 at 7:30 p.m.  There will be two shows on Mar. 3 (2 and 6:30 p.m.), Mar. 9 (2 and 7:30 p.m.) and one show on Mar. 10 (6:30 p.m.).  All performances are to happen at Silver Creek High School, located at 557 Renz Ave. in Sellersburg, IN.

Tickets for each show are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $6 for students.  Special VIP treatment is available for $5 more.  Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling Silver Creek at 812-246-7440.  More information on the show can be found at the Silver Creek Theatre website.

Silver Creek becomes Rydell High class of 1959 in Grease.  The cool Danny Zuke and the wholesome Sandy Dumbrowski unite among all the gum-chewing, hot-rod loving boys and the bobby sox and the teased curls of the girls.  As their romance blossoms, enjoy the familiar renditions of Greased Lightnin', Beauty School Dropout, and Summer Lovin', among many others.

The Grease cast includes Robert Coomer as Danny, Remi Maxwell and Maddy Lobeck as Sandy, and a special appearance during the first weekend by Robert Shaw as Teen Angel.
