Okay listen up, I really don't ask for a lot in this world.  Nice show on occasion, really appreciate the thousands of you who read my ramblings and voted for me for 'Best Music Writer' (still waiting on the re-count), but for the Queens of Stone Age to come to The Palace and it not be sold out is really unacceptable.  I've been giving you all props lately for turning out, so let me just tell you how worth your money tonight will be.

In support of their latest banger 'Like Clockwork', QOTSA have been melting faces and blowing minds since the album legally came out on June 4th.  To that avail they've been streaming shows, touring relentlessly, making the late night circuit, supernaturally making babies through auditory amazement, and now it's your chance to get in on the live action.  I can't really say enough about the new album that hasn't already been gushed by someone far more musically savvy than me, which I know is tough for you to believe.  It's ridiculously amazing from start to finish, reached #1 on the Billboard charts, and one of the stellar tracks even got butchered into a Mountain Dew commercial by some evil dunce at BBDO.

If you do nothing else for the rest of this year, you must make this show.  Look for the entire set from Lollapalooza this year and tell me I'm wrong.  Seriously there is a comments section and I'd love to hear your insight, especially if your opinion differs.  Since I anticipate zero comments, I look forward to seeing everyone tonight as there are still Orchestra level seats available.
