Continuing with its tradition of being the official party location for seemingly every big to-do in Louisville, tonight Prime Lounge is hosting Jocktails, a celebrity jockey bartending event that benefits the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund.
Jockey bartenders slated to work bar include Julien Leparoux, John Valazquez, Jon Court, James Graham, Robby Albarado, Rajiv Maragh, Willie Martinez and Freddie Lenclud.
Grey Goose (a vodka, not the name of a horse in the Dirt Mile) is co-hosting the event, which is invite only from 7–10 p.m. with doors opening to the public (in exchange for a $10 donation to the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund) at 10 p.m.
Prime Lounge is located at 104 W. Main St.
In addition to pouring your regular drinks (appletini for me, thank you!), the jockeys will be mixing Grey Goose's new Zenyatta cocktail:
- 1 ¼ oz. Grey Goose Le Citron
- 2 ½ oz. Simply Pink Lemonade
Directions:
- Fill serving glass with ice and pour in Le Citron and pink lemonade.
- Garnish with a mint sprig.
Named after last year's Breeders' Cup Classic not winner, the cocktail will be sold throughout the weekend with proceeds benefiting The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
