Jockeys moonlighting as bartenders, all for a great cause
It's decadent, it's depraved, and it's here!
Last night guests at a packed Prime Lounge—including those pictured in the following slideshow—donated more than $2,800 to the Permanently Disabled Jockeys Fund. The premise is simple: the jockeys poured Woodford Reserve drinks to the crowd and donated all the tips to the fund.
Wednesday night at Prime Lounge (104 W. Main St.), Woodford Reserve bourbon is hosting the fourth annual Jocktails Celebrity Jockey Bartending Charity Event.
Breeders' Cup is this Friday and Saturday. And, as with Derby, along with the big races comes big fun.
Jockeys like Johnny Velazquez and James Graham (pictured) served up Grey Goose specialty Breeders' Cup cocktails to the likes of Mayor Greg Fischer and me to raise money for the Permanently Disabled Jockey Fund.
Event is invite only from 7-10 p.m., with doors opening to the public at 10 p.m.
