Little women, foreigners, and scoundrels can be found at Hayswood Theatre during its 2010-2011 season.
Hayswood Theatre will present five shows during its upcoming season, including Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (September-October), Little Women, Hello Dolly, Man of La Mancha, and The Foreigner.

Opening Hayswood's season is Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. The Jennifer Zink-directed production deals with two con men in the middle of a bet. The one who is able to swindle $50,000 from Christine Colgate wins and stays in tpwn. The loser, meanwhile, must leave. The production will run on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays until Oct. 3.
Following that production will be Little Women. In the production, Jo Marsh is attempting to go from girl to womanhood while also dealing with the limitations and behaviors required of her in the 19th century. The musical is based on Louisa May Alcott's novel of the same name.
Auditions for Little Women will take place this Sunday and Monday at 7 p.m. each night in Hayswood Theatre. Males and females aged 10 and up are encouraged to audition.
Following Little Women will be the famous musical Hello, Dolly. Widower Dolly Gallagher Levi is looking to win the hand of Horace Vandergelder, a half-millionaire. While persuing Horace, she also "meddles" and plays matchmaker to a host of other individuals.
Another classic musical will follow with the production of Man of La Mancha. The play-within-a-play shows Cervantes, a prisoner, telling the story of Don Quixote, who fantasises about living out life as a knight. Quixote is a kind soul but out-of-touch from reality as he attempts to "save" Aldonza.
Ending Hayswood's 2010-2011 season will be The Foreigner. Charlie, a guest at a fishing lodge, is incredibly shy and is believed by others to not understand English. However, he hears of the scandals going on among others in the house.
