In the musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, two con men attempt to woo women out of their money while in Beaumont Sur Mer, a town in the French Riviera. They soon meet up with each other and attempt to work together, which fails miserably (or hillariously depending on point of view).

Because the town is seemingly not big enough for either person, the con men make a deal. The first person to take Christine Colgate's $50,000 wins, and the other person must leave town.

Jennifer Zink directed Dirty Rotten Scoundrels for Hayswood Theatre. David Yazber created the music and lyrics for the production while Jeffrey Lane created the book. The production itself was based on the 1988 film of the same name.

Following Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will be Little Women, which will occur around the holidays. Auditions for this show will take place on September 19 and 20 at 7 p.m. each night at Hayswood Theatre. Those 10 years of age and older are eligible to audition.

Other shows to come in the season include The Foreigner, Man of La Mancha, and Hello, Dolly. More information on Hayswood Theatre and the shows can be found at the Hayswood Theatre website.
