Powered With Pride Run/Walk, presented by Humana Vitality, returns to Louisville's Pride Weekend line-up in 2014 after an incredibly successful inaugural event in June 2013.
All participants will receive a custom designed race t-shirt and black rainbow tube socks.
Each year a portion of the proceeds are donated to a local non-profit focused on advancing causes near and dear to the LGBT and supporting communities.
The 2014 charity beneficiary is The Louisville Youth Group! LYG boosts the self-esteem of LGBT youth by providing a safe space that encourages positive life choices, teaches healthy interactions with peers and adults, and develops activities in which youth are challenged to reach their full potential.

Comfy Cow Chase
The Comfy Cow Chase is their NEW kid's fun run added to PWP festivities for those age 12 and under. The fun run will take place as soon as the last PWP participant has victoriously crossed the 5K finish line in Cherokee Park! Fun run participants will join The Comfy Cow mascot, and other costumed characters, as they dash along our grassy-chase-course in a colorful display of fun and wellness. The cost to join is $5, with all participants receiving a children's pair of Pride Socks, finisher's award, and FREE scoop of Comfy Cow ice cream!
