The Animal Care Society, a No-Kill adoption agency for dogs and cats, is holding their Pearls for the Paws benefit event on Saturday, April 11th from 6-11pm.

The event, held at the Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center, features dinner, dancing, a live auction, and entertainment by The Monarchs.

The Animal Care Society, Louisville’s first No-Kill shelter, was founded in 1984 with a mission to provide “forever homes” for dogs and cats who had been given up or abandoned by others.

In the last ten years alone, the Society has placed over 8,000 animals into caring environments, operating solely on the financial support of private donations, memberships, adoption fees and volunteers. The Animal Care Society receives no federal, state or local funding.

Tickets for the Pearls for the Paws event, presented by Strategic Wealth Designers, are $75 each, and are available online or at the door.
