Certainly hope you took advantage of this great deal this past weekend, as it began on February 1st. And Since February is notoriously a very short month, you have 25 days left to really take advantage of this offer.

The participating museums along Museum Row are Frazier History Museum, Muhammad Ali Center, Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory, and KentuckyShow!.  Some of the outstanding exhibits and programs you can experience through the 5 for$5 are the pinballs exhibit at the Slugger Museum and extraordinary films at Ali Center. Kentucky Science Center is NOT a participating venue, but they always offer $5 after 5pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Spend your day strolling through one of these museums’ deals, then grab a bite to eat (before 3-5pm) at Luigi’s Pizzeria, Mrs. Potter’s, or Firefresh BBQ and stick around for the evening deal at the Science Center.

What a fantastic opportunity to visit these great museums in downtown Louisville at a fraction of the cost. I know many friends, families, and especially homeschooling families who will take advantage of this fantastic offer. I know my family will be! We haven’t visited Ali Center or KMAC at all, and it’s been many years since we visited Frazier or Slugger. KentuckyShow! is a breathtaking encounter about being a Kentuckian that you have to see. The $5 February deal is good for KY and IN residents with a valid ID.

    See you on Museum Row!
