Enjoy a night of Broadway-style tunes, silent auctions, and cocktails during Light Up Centerstage, taking place Saturday night.
The 9th annual Light Up Centerstage is the Jewish Community Center theatre group's annual fundraiser. Last year, the event raised more than $60,000 to fund Centerstage shows and programs. All events are to take place in the Linker Auditorium at the Jewish Community Center, located at 3600 Dutchmans Lane near the Highlands.
While enjoying an hor d'oeuvre or a cocktail, attendees can tap their toes or sing along to the Broadway-style review featuring members of the local and Centerstage community.
Also, a silent auction will give attendees a chance to win one of multiple prize packages like dinner-and-a-show packages, Cincinnati Reds packages, art, woodwork, and possible trips.
The event is $90 per person, and tickets can be purchased by calling Jewish Community Center of Louisville at 502-238-2763.
Following Light Up Centerstage, the theatre group will return with The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. That production will go on in January.
More information on all Centerstage events can be found at its website.
